Because of the Remote TestKit support virtual adb (Android Debug Bridge) function, developer can use remote mobile devices with their own IDE, such as eclipse. The Remote Testkit is able to connect automated testing tools too, for example Selenium. Remote TestKit is not a kind of emulator.
